New Leaf vs. New Life

What is radical leadership? The Bible gives us a picture of the ultimate radical leader, Jesus, who willingly gave up His life to accomplish His purpose. (John 19:30)

In the book of Zephaniah, we read how God raised up radical leaders such as King Josiah and Zephaniah to call the people to be transformed. It can be all to easy to escape criticism and hide behind external reformation, pretending all is well because it looks well. However, we know that real change, lasting change, life change, begins in the heart.

New Leaf vs. New Life

Just as Zephaniah called upon the Hebrews to repent and reflect on their lives, let us look inward at our own hearts, motives, desires, and private lives.

Do we measure up to God measuring stick? I confess, my life doesn’t always reflect the person I know I am called to be. I like to think it does, but I know I still have work to do before I reach my personal best for God.

At CLASS, we are in the business of changing lives to change lives. We pray the information you find here on our website, and through the courses we offer, helps you take another step toward lasting change, toward transformation, so you will become a radical leader, like Jesus.

      Hi Janice,
Congratulations on your retirement from such an honorable and gratifying career. If you are interested in public speaking, there are several things you can do, one of which is to attend a CLASSeminar where we have a faculty of professional communicators that help you develop your potential and skills as a speaker. Be sure to check back on our website to learn more, classeminars.org. Another step you can take is to join a local Toastmasters group where you can experience and experiment with speaking on a regular basis. Check online to see if there are any speakers groups in your area or online that you can connect with. Take one step, then take another, then take another. As a retired teacher, you know that anything is possible, you just need to educate yourself and then get some experience under your belt.

      Blessings, Tama

If you already have experience in speaking you may just need help in creating a marketing plan that works for you.

If you are just getting started speaking professionally you may want to consider attending our basic CLASSeminar which helps you identify topics to speak on, formulate a dynamic, effective presentation and deliver it with power. There are many programs that train speakers. The CLASSeminar is Christian based and offers not just the classroom teaching but practical application with a mentor coach that helps you see what areas need specific attention.
